Children are active participants in the life of Messiah. 

While all are welcome at either of our Sunday services, the 10:30 a.m. (9:30 during July and August) Service of Holy Eucharist with music is generally more appealing to our younger members.  Children from the age of nine serve as acolytes at this service every week.

We have recently installed a "Soft Space" in the back of the sanctuary.  This carpeted area with quiet toys is intended for children six and under to be with their parents.  While we believe that children should worship with their families, we also know that it's hard to sit still for an hour!

Every church school session is carefully planned to engage and encourage children to participate in and more fully understand Sunday worship and their lives as Christians in their communities.  To register for the 2007-2008 Church School year, you may download a registration form by clicking here and return the completed form to the Church office.  If you need more information or have any questions, please e-mail or call Lee Ann Tolzmann+ at 410-426-0709.
